Perennials are plants that die back at the end of their growing season and re-emerge the following year. While most perennials grow from spring to fall, there are some (like Lenten Rose and Peot’s Laurel) that thrive in colder weather.

Perennials, unlike annuals, do not bloom for their entire lifecycle. Instead, they will bloom during a specific season for several weeks. Once they have finished flowering, their foliage will remain and provide a nice backdrop for other blooming plants. For the longest period of blooming, select plants with different bloom times together. Mix in some annuals too for long-lasting color! To see perennials listed by bloom period, click here.

Listed below are popular varieties of perennials we typically carry. However, due to the seasonal nature of these plants, all varieties listed may not be available at all times.
