Ken Matthews Garden Center is a full service garden center, nursery and landscaping company that has been serving the Tidewater region of Virginia since the 1970’s. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best quality, selection and service possible. With our talented team of Virginia Certified Horticulturists and Plant Specialists, we can answer your gardening questions and give you great advice to help your garden grow!
If you live in the Tidewater region and have a gardening question, please feel free to contact us. We have more than 40 years of experience in helping customers in our area with all types of lawn and garden questions.
However, if you live outside the Tidewater region and you have a lawn or gardening question, we recommend that you contact your local garden center or cooperative extension office for advice that is specific to your particular area. This is important because growing conditions can vary from one part of the country to another due to different climates and soil conditions.
All of the gardening tips and recommendations on this website are intended for Tidewater region of Virginia, which includes zones 6-7 on the USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map. When using any garden product or pesticide, always follow the label instructions.
